Save the Boreal Forest/Save the Woodland Caribou

In 2004, Greenpeace Canada launched its campaign to save the Boreal forest from extinction by putting pressure on logging companies that clear-cut forests. In 2009, we were approached to continue this important work, drawing connections between the extinction of Ontario’s Boreal forests and the extinction of the woodland caribou.
Since launched, close to a thousand petitions have been signed and delivered to Dalton McGuinty.
