Winner! RGD So(cial) Good Award
The Public won a 2014 RGD So(cial) Good Award for our Elder Abuse Prevention participatory video project with the Council of Elders at Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto. The project was a judge’s pick, and was on display at Pearson Airport Terminal 1 in the Winter 2014–Spring 2015.

Racism Free Ontario Profile
On December 10, 2011, The Council of Agencies Service South Asians began profiling 100 Canadian People of Colour activists and organizations as a part of their Racism Free Ontario campaign. Sheila was featured as one of one hundred people of colour anti-racist activists, for her work here at The Public and over at Shameless.
