Parkdale Push is an exhibit that features a series of custom-designed skateboards, created by the students of Oasis Skateboard Factory, highlighting some key aspects of Parkdale: street art and resistance to gentrification; the neighbourhood’s Tibetan and Indigenous communities; and the fight for affordable housing. Come see it for yourself now and join us at our studio for the exhibit’s official launch on October 25th from 3:00-5:00pm, featuring OSF’s student artists/designers, outdoor skate demos, refreshments, and more! Proceeds from the sale of the boards will go back into supporting neighbourhood initiatives.
